Where your photos become keepsake videos

Never Forget Pictures
FAQ

- How much does it cost?
Every project is unique. Will your photos need scanning or corrections or colorization? How long
will the final video be? How soon do you want the final video returned to you? All of these may
impact the final cost. Cost for final videos could range between $250 up to $1k or more. I can
even host the video on my Youtube channel (for a small subscription fee), making it easily
available to anyone and easy to share.
- What is typically needed for a video?
Most people will have a collection of photos that may need to be scanned and then photo
corrected for scratches removal, and often pictures will need focus. Many like to see their old
B&W photos colorized. Video files may need to be converted before import. Music is an
important component to videos and if an MP3 file is not provided by the client, then gaining
access to them might incur a cost.
- Will I have final say in the finish video?
While I like pride in the artistic interpretation of your vision, your input is crucial to your
satisfaction. Depending on the scope of the project, we may need to discuss the progress during
the editing process.
- How long will it take for me to get my video back?
This is another big variable. Depending on the amount of media provided and the final length of
the video will determine the turnaround. There are some videos that just need fast turnaround, i.e.
memorial or special events like birthday gifting a video, so I would take all of this into
consideration. In general, I would want a week or so, but we could discuss turnaround in days if
really needed.
- What can I do to help in the video development?
If you want to have added text i.e. names, dates, poems, etc., in the intros or outros or
throughout the video, then be prepared and give it a lot of thought. The sequence of the pictures
often tell a story. By organizing pictures in date range or by group will give you a better story.
Give this some thought if needed. Take your pictures and videos in "landscape" orientation. This
makes for a better video. Also, let's pick music that is desirable to many and not just the one.
